AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Journal Template

Article Structure:

  • Title: Written in Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold, centered. The title should reflect the main findings of the research.
  • Author Name and Affiliation: The author’s name is written in full without academic titles (12 pt, bold, centered). Affiliation includes the institution and email address (12 pt, centered).
  • Abstract and Keywords: The abstract (11 pt, italic, justified, 100–250 words) contains the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions. Keywords (3–5 words, 11 pt, italic) are separated by commas.

Main Sections:

  • Introduction: Includes the background, a brief literature review, identification of research gaps, and the hypothesis (if applicable).
  • Method: Describes the research or design methods systematically, including logical steps to achieve the expected outcomes.
  • Results and Discussion: Presents research data (in the form of descriptions, tables, or graphs). The discussion interprets the results and connects them to the research objectives without unnecessary repetition of data.
  • Conclusion: Provides clear answers to the problems stated in the introduction.

Writing Format:

  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt (11 pt for tables, 10 pt for image captions).
  • Spacing: 1.5 (single spacing for abstracts, keywords, tables, and image sources).
  • Tables and Images: Numbered sequentially, with captions formatted appropriately.

References:

  • All references cited in the manuscript must follow the APA Style Version 7 format, covering books, journals, newspaper articles, conference papers, dissertations, and websites.

Additional Notes:

    • The author is fully responsible for the content of the manuscript and must ensure its originality.
    • The article must adhere to the principles of being logical, objective, systematic, reliable, and accumulative.

Writing Guideline

When submitting articles, the author must pay attention to: Articles must be in accordance with the focus and scope of the Aksa: Jurnal Desain Komunikasi Visual. Article has never been sent and published to other publisher in the form of any media (printed/electronic). If there is any publishing duplication, writer is willing to get the article removed from this journal. The writer upholds the copyright, privacy, and ethics of scientific publications of Aksa: Jurnal Desain Komunikasi Visual. Articles are sent in Microsoft Word format. Provisions for the above style of script writing are applied in the articles’ template of Aksa: Jurnal Desain Komunikasi Visual.
